Ravello is a stunning hilltop town on the Amalfi Coast! Here’s how to get there from the United States:

Step 1: Fly into Naples or Rome

  • The closest airport to Ravello is Naples International Airport (NAP)—about 1.5 hours away by car.

  • Alternatively, you can fly into Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO), which offers more international flight options. Rome is approximately 3.5–4 hours from Ravello by car or train.

Step 2: Transfer to Ravello
From Naples:

  • Private car service (recommended for comfort and convenience) – about 1.5–2 hours.

  • Train + taxi – Take a train from Naples to Salerno, then a taxi or car service up to Ravello.

From Rome:

  • Train to Salerno – High-speed trains from Rome to Salerno take around 2 hours. From Salerno, book a taxi or car service to Ravello.

  • Private transfer – You can also arrange a private car directly from Rome to Ravello for a scenic, door-to-door experience.

Note: Ravello is a pedestrian-friendly town with limited vehicle access. We recommend packing comfortable shoes and coordinating your arrival with your accommodation for porter assistance.
